I've never stopped exploring.
I've just kept it a secret.

What kind of a future or life is this?

And still, I just follow through, entertaining myself peacefully and alone, quietly, with colours, textures, paper; it’s limitless.

Think of it. It can come and jump right off the paper. It has a life of its own. It keeps me company while I am doing (serious), focused on corporate work.

PROJECT:
THESE THINGS

CORE SKILLS:
TEXTURE
COLOUR
LAYERING
INTUITION
EXPERIMENTATION
TRANSFORMATION

It kind of signified that the object of art and the meaning, the symbolism, are tied together.
The idea of playing with art, the repetitions, but also the nuances, how these moods of colours, combinations and backgrounds, dark and light, angles, transparency, porosity, and opaqueness can create an infinite language.

Make It

Inspired by Mexican rebozos, I made a series of intertwined threads in paper and with paper, and what attracted me first was the idea of tactility, things that had a tactile quality. The texture has not only a visual impact, but also a tactile dimension.

Make It

Constantly transforming the originals into something different, but connected with the parent piece. That's the way I am building my art, one layer after the other. Covering something, but creating a new something. The fragments of specific pieces that I collect are used as new elements, changing the symbolism completely.

LEARNINGS

I’ve realized that learning isn’t just about collecting knowledge — it’s about staying awake. The moment I stop being curious, I slip into routine. Curiosity is what keeps me open, adaptable, and growing.

If you’re curious, my newest artwork is up on Instagram.
